Scaled up from our 1/76th version, this 1/48th XF4 gives more room to pick out engine and electrical detail by eye or under a brush. It's built to the same internal layout as the smaller kit, just with the extra bulk you'd expect from an S-scale-adjacent build.
Construction
Supplied assembled as one unit
Wood-style flooring bed with U-beam framework
Radiator front, engine centre, electrics/fuel rear
At this size the panel lines and pipework take paint well — a good candidate if you're weathering your fairground stock rather than leaving it factory-fresh.
